Who’s Behind CLUB ROOTS?
MARKETING BY DAY. NORTH WEST COUNTIES BY NIGHT.
Through the day, I work as a marketing and graphic design professional, helping companies grow their online presence and improve their look. At night (and every Saturday) I am the Assistant Manager at Steeton AFC, a semi-professional football club in the North West Counties League.
Through my time in non-league and amateur football, one thing that has always bugged me is clubs with huuuge potential, having shocking branding and graphics. So for me, combining my 2 passions was a no brainer.
CLUB ROOTS is personal for me. I live and breathe non-league football—it’s not just a job; it’s my world. I know what it’s like to manage on a shoestring budget, to work with volunteers who give everything for the club, and to celebrate every little win on and off the pitch.
I bring that passion, combined with professional design experience, to every club I work with. It’s about more than a badge; it’s about creating something your players, fans, and sponsors can believe in

Non-league football is growing fast. Attendances are up, games are on TV, and the level of talent on the pitch keeps rising. But too often, clubs’ brands—the logos, kits, online presence—don’t match the quality of the game or its potential.
I started CLUB ROOTS because I believe in non-league football. This is where the real heart of the game lives, and it deserves branding that reflects its passion and ambition.
Through CLUB ROOTS, I work with clubs to create professional, scalable designs that can attract bigger sponsors, engage modern fans, and proudly represent their communities.
